On the other side of the wall
Someone living in Pointwest Apartments behind Cromwell House has just, presumably, turned one year old today. At first it was a solitary silver balloon bobbing up and down behind the brick wall that blocks out my view of the owner of the balloon. Owner Of The Single Silver Balloon takes big sprightly steps - now you see the balloon, now you don't. After that it was an entire bouquet of silver and baby blue balloons sailing away blithely. And last of all, almost an hour later, Silver Number 1 comes along, lingers, moves away indecisively, lingers, moves away... I imagine the birthday boy or girl must have his/her hands full with all the presents. The shape and the movement of the 1 reminds me of a seahorse floating in the ocean (is that what they do? Float?). It's almost like watching a puppet show from behind these walls.

very observant :) What happened to the shoutbox....
ah.. i took off the tagboard cos it was causing too many pop ups... dont u find it extremely annoying? in the meantime im still too lazy/do not have time to get a new one, so... hehe.
Oh shame.. I was going to tag that I love mushrooms (too) and there's this place in Bangsar which serves scrumptious fried / raw 'shrooms with very yummy sauce. But oh well.
ooooo.... so when are we going? hehe d= i've been consuming a lot of mushrooms these days - i put mushrooms in my pasta, in my chicken rice, in my soup, in my fried rice, in my vegetables... lol. mushrooms rock! (=

P/s: Listen to: All My Life or It Don't Matter to the Sun by Rosie Thomas.. they are some of my faves... One more Day is really nice too :) I see its on your faves atm! Oh, and for a slightly more upbeat Rosie Thomas that is very addictive - try Pretty Dress :) It ROCKS.
jenny: hey jenny, thanks for the recommendation! i was telling myself i need to start scouting around for a better tagboard but now you've solved the problem for me! hehe. and yeah, i love "all my life" too! haven't heard "it don't matter" though.. ohh i made the most wonderful discovery today.. i cancelled my Napster 7 day free trial cos i found out i dont get to keep music that i download, but it turns out all the songs i downloaded during the 7 days are still playable on my Napster - yay! (=
