Ever felt a really strong craving to eat a lot of... - something... something really unnutritious and fattening - but didn't know what that 'something' was? Cos I feel like that right now. It's not ice cream.. not chocolate.. not cake.. not Doritos.. It's not any of those that I want to eat, and for the life of me I just can't think what, although I really really want to eat 'it'! I must be PMS-ing.
This Sunday is Chap Gor Meh, the last day of Chinese New Year. Oddly enough it feels as if Chinese New Year never even really started in the first place, hmmm. To make up for the lack of CNY festivity though, I had a really good birthday celebration. No surprises, not even discreet planning/organising of my birthday dinner on my friends' parts, lol. But it was good, everything from the "Apply before 14th February - Looking for the perfect man" tee-shirt, to the mussels. Every year I am so touched by all the kind gestures from people, even the shortest birthday greeting from someone you'd least expect it from... really makes my day. Thanks every-everybody!(=
The ambience in my room is really nice right now! I turned off all the ceiling lights and turned on my new lamp with the green lampshade that Jin Rong, Tzyy Jian and Ni-Tsia bought me for my birthday... George Benson is playing on my laptop. All I need is a white chocolate mocha from Starbucks (oooh Wincy gave me a gift certificate from Starbucks again this year!) to complete the whole laid-back, warm, jazzy feel..... (=
I think I got it. It's something deep fried, savoury and oily that I want to eat. It's cucur udang I want. Dipped in a sweet chilli sauce.
