walao... you sound so out of control when you're frusfrated and angry... kinda hilarious too if i may say so myself ;-p
chill may (literally? haha) ! the weekend's here...
man... i know what frustrating 'non existent' partners are like...
i'd say, do a great job out of it and then tell on him to your personal tutor! it's the only way to get fair marks...
experienced more or less the same thing in my first year presentation group... the leader was basically non-existent...
had a small 'coup de tat' in the group... eventually i end up handling everything...
what were these guys thinking when pulling of such things? have they no shame or guilt?
Hey May!
You should tell him/her off, curtly and politely. Professionally, if you like. Set boundaries and be firm with them. If you're not already doing this, tell them how you feel (disappointed, stood up, let down) about their behaviour in a calm and unruffled way.
If you're the leader, bug them for deadlines or "kind reminders"... Thck-skinness is a good thing to cultivate. And you don't want to be stuck carrying other people's responsibilities for the rest of your life, do ya? So it's great to start communicating your boundaries now during uni days.
Sometimes being nice can be unnecessary - even sometimes it can turn us into hypocrites cos deep down we are boiling.
I'd like to think that if God doesn't mind telling us He doesn't like something about how we do things (through rebuke, Holy Spirit prompting) then it's OK to be like Him.
Debbie
(and oh, happened to drop by today)
