A Series of Disjointed Thoughts
by Lame-May-ny Stupicket
Why do I keep getting the two same equations for a set of what is supposed to be 3 unknowns and 3 independent equations??? What in the world is wrong with my Lower-Upper Factorization method???!!
Why am I so easily distracted and so easily disturbed by menial things?
How can people happily DOTA away and sleep and watch Kill Bill while eating dinner, when I'm slogging over my math tutorials?!
I want Ben & Jerry's VerMonster ice cream.
What on earth?? Someone just knocked on my door and then disappeared when I opened it. Takde kerja lain ke??
Lisa must be studying very hard in the library. Is it that she can't study in the room? Is it because of me? Am I very noisy? Distracting?
I can't stop blogging. ARGH.

glad to know i have such a loyal reader in u, amal. hehe. 3 times a day... woohoo! moi is soooooo flattered!
i think i better start writing properly again, instead of simply writing disjointed sentences like this. i tell u, this chemical engineering course is making me lose whatever limited amount of literary skills i ever had in the beginning! next thing u know, i'll be writing in numbers and codes which u'll have to cipher... lol
The reason why SOME people can afford to watch kill bill and sleep 14 hours a day is because :
You have to make sure your matrix is DIAGONALLY DOMINANT. Every figure from the Upper Left corner all the way down to the Bottom Right corner have to be the dominant figure of the row in terms of magnitude (or absolute). That means, you'll have to do a little bit of PARTIAL PIVOTING - exchanging rows like how you do it for Gaussian Elimination method. If your LU matrix isn't in a diagonally dominant state, you'll just get back the same equations and 3 unknowns unknown!
Yes donkey, u're very noisy and annoying..hehe.. call me in the middle of the night .. made me miss my Fluid Mechanic lectures..
hugs
Dr. Jan, PhD in zzz
*tor chea* Prof Jan...
Needed that part to solve my circuit questions. lol...
hey chipmunk! hehe.. i tot all u need is LaGrange eq.s for circuits ? eh Alvin, u're not in ChemEng ar?
i'm learning almost the same maths stuff and the bl**dy circuits require Gau El.... haha... and amal was right! Something that is not 'EE'...
and to whoever is interested: intro you a site (*i'm sure jan will be interested) http://www.bash.org and look for Top 100 on the top right corner.
==i was being truthful==
Amal..MAYhem keeps u busy? U mean..u're not busy STUDYING??**Grin**
