Random scribblings, again

Back to school tomorrow!
Eeekkkkkk ahuhhhgoohhghghghghgghaeerhhhaooohhh!!!!!!
Many have asked me how my Easter holidays were... well, the best thing I can say about it is that it started with a bang (Jan and Sheffield!)and ended with a bang. I just had one of the most sumptuous meals EVER in my 6 months here in London... It's this Malaysian restaurant called C&R, located in one of the slightly dodgier alleys of Chinatown. Anyways... allow me to indulgently list down the 7 dishes the 7 of us (me, Mel, Alan, Chong Ka, Tzyy Jian, Lance, Deno) ordered: Penang Prawn Mee, Tom Yam Soup Noodles, Penang Assam Laksa, Hokkien Mee, 'Wa Dan Hor', Mee Goreng Mamak and Char Koay Teow, respectively. Woohoo! Never knew I had such a good memory for food! Hahaha... Ooh that's not the end... we had dessert too... ice kacang, chendol and sago in gula melaka - DELICIOUS!!! All prepared in a near-perfect, authentic Malaysian style.... delectable! I am now so bloated that I can only manage a cup of Muller yoghurt for dinner... =) But oh my galoshes, was that a satisfying meal or WHAT!
I remember one particular period of time here in London when I felt as if I was living my life from weekend to weekend. That has changed. Now I live from holiday to holiday. Everything else in between (almost), is forgettable, forgo-able and not looked forward to. Except weekends when Jan comes to see me!
Today at Kensington Temple I had an awesome time of worship. I realise that there are only two things/people that can make me smile in a certain way that no one else can.... Jan, and GOD. =) The kind of smile where at first you're not even aware that you're smiling, until suddenly when the realisation comes to you, and you have to snap yourself out of that semi-conscious state of awe/admiration/happiness/love-struck-ness... Did that make sense??? Oh, NEVERMIND.
