Pasar Malam in Sheffield

Spring beckons - I like!!! Then again, they probably sell these flowers all year round... by the way, they're REAL!

How can I not be reminded of the good ol' Sunday evening pasar malams at PJS10? I remember it all so clearly - the wet roads after evening showers, the sweet aroma of apam balik in the air, bumping into fellow Ridzuan-ians at every single corner I turn... Ordering a tastebud-tantalising 'custom made' char koay teow can be more complicated than ordering a cuppa at Starbucks! "Koay teow mee (round mee, not flat one), extra noodles, extra spicy, no taugeh, egg yes, prawns yes, see hum fresh or not? Not fresh dowan"..... I MISS HOME!!!!!!!

More flowers... and a paella stall in the background called 'Bella Paella'. How cute.

Familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.... dontcha think?
