Random scribblings

Alvin is in London!

Omigosh. Yesterday at Leicester Square while waiting to get onto the bus, I was thisclose to becoming a victim of a pickpocketer. (again, need I mention that none of this information is to come to the knowledge of Mr and Mrs Tan) I was carrying my leather sling bag as usual - I was just carrying it over one shoulder, not strapped across me - and I felt this person beside me, he was coming a little too close for comfort... and something made me turn and look his way... And I saw *gasp* his hand in my bag!!! *double gasp* I was so scared I couldn't even make a sound. I just gave him this 'look' and he very politely withdrew his hand from my bag like it was even supposed to be there in the first place, and then proceeded to discreetly show me what he was holding in his hands to prove that none of my belongings were taken away from me. So yeah, I checked my bag - wallet and 3310 were still there (hehe my spanking new Sony Ericsson K700i was in my pocket). He didn't even get onto the bus in the end so you know he definitely was up to no good. Anyways, I just got onto the bus, still very much in a daze. I can't explain the feeling I had when I saw his hand in my bag and realised what he was trying to do.... *shivers* Reallyreallyreally thank God for His protection over me.... It was quite an unforgettable experience. I still am slightly affected by it... whenever there's someone walking behind me I tend to get nervous and suspicious. It's not a nice feeling at all.

Come to think of it, so many disturbing and frightening things have happened to me and around me ever since I came to London. First, the passport incident, second, the falling guy incident and now this. Also, today a friend revealed to me something about himself, which I found rather disturbing... No, God, this is NOT what I meant by 'happening'!!! Hahaha...

Tzyy Jian and Allan are on their way back to Malaysia right now. Have a sneaky feeling I'm actually gonna miss them - their lame jokes, bickering, and blatant cursing. If you're reading this, bye guys! Hope you all have a nice time back home. And don't forget to photocopy the Thermodynamics notes!! =)

Listening to Mariah on "Miss You Most (At Christmastime)" is so haunting and heart-wrenching you almost feel like bursting into tears for no apparent reason. Or maybe I'm just weird.

I miss my light brown hair!!!! =(

Tonight I share my room with a stranger from Southampton.

Psalm 121:5-8
The LORD watches over you - the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. Amen.
