Procrastination is the thief of time
Don't feel obliged to read this if you have no inkling what I'm talking about. Too lazy to go into details. I just want to rant and complain, complain, complain!
I'm going to Putrajaya this coming Monday for a meeting with the Ketua Pengarah of JPA, and was intending to hand in my contracts then, as well as my medical report. But as luck had it, I got my period and so I couldn't go for the medical check-up (DON'T ASK WHY!). Fine. Much to the indignance of my father, I decided I'll just do the medical check-up, like, an entire week later after my courses are over. FINE! And then, just as I'd finished filling up my contracts with all the necessary information from both my guarantors, it dawns upon me that I will need the official stamp of my saksi (who is my lawyer uncle), and tomorrow being Sunday, he wouldn't be in his office. So I had to trouble him to go back to his office just to get his stamp so that I can complete the blasted contracts and hand them in to JPA this Monday. So I pick up the phone and very apologetically (and fake-ly, my sister said!) explain the situation to my uncle, who, fortunately was very nice about it. FINE! I'm still not stressed yet!!!!! And just as I was filling in the last bits of information, i.e. the date of the contract - I realise that I need RM40 worth of setem hasil and tomorrow's not a working day! I can't get it done on Monday morning either coz I'll be leaving for KL at 6 in the morning and going straight to Putrajaya. Arggghhhh!!! Does anyone feel my frustration??!! *grits teeth* *stamps feet* *pulls hair* (No, JB, it is NOT cute!!)
So yeah, conclusion is, I cannot hand in my contracts to JPA on Monday.
You're probably thinking, "yeah, BIG deal". But I'll very likely be the only one who doesn't hand in her contracts AND medical report on Monday and my dearest JPA officers are prolly gonna be thinking, "Did we actually give an RM400K scholarship to this slacker?" ARGH!!
Doesn't help at all that my father is leter-ing me like there's no tomorrow....
Wait, I'm not done complaining! There's still my visa which has yet to be approved...!! And shopping to be done! And appointments with friends to be kept! And thank you cards to be written! Why am I so slow?? Heck, Alvin and Shin Ee are already in Edinburgh right now and I still have so much more to do!
I'm stressed! All this has made me realise that I have a very low level of stress tolerance.

Ack! I just got an SMS from a friend (not naming names here) asking me when my farewell party is! What the???!!

Hi May. You are not the only one who didn't submit the contract.haha...guess what? My saksi signed at the wrong place, and gave the wrong address, so I just got a brand new contract on monday. Don't worry, we still have time... =)
ayoh.. lepak la.. if my registration date was as late as yours i would be more lepak than u. haha.. but since its me, it not saying much is it?
Hey, May. i didn't send in my contracts on that day too. the jpa peeps gave me the wrong offer letter last fri and gave the same exact, wrong one on mon also. sigh. after i finally got the correct one and reached kl, i found out that left my ic and file with contract in jpa and hafta go back to jpa to get them. [angst!!] and so, gonna post later.. same ler.. *grins*

that is SUCH a bummer... i don't feel so sorry for myself anymore. haha. one person's misfortune is very often another person's consolation. haha... *wink* well, hope you get everything done soon. and thank heavens we only start in october - phew!
