Ipoh rocks!

At the Ice-Cream Lounge, uhm, near Ipoh Garden? Piled on a 'few' extra calories here, as if we hadn't already accumulated enough calories in the two days that I was there.... phew. Ipoh - eating haven.

Anyways, the Ipoh stay was just swell. Thanks, Sook Meng and Justin - I really really really had a wonderful time! Thanks for letting me stay over, for feeding me for almost 3 days, for driving me around, planning this activity and that for me, for belanja-ing me so many times, for not minding watching with us a movie you've already seen before, for being willing to get quite lost driving around in Ipoh... everything!

Really enjoyed the food I had in Ipoh - from the famous Fusan dimsum to the also famous ngar choy kai, to cendol with pulut, to deep-fried ice cream (it's ingenius, I tell you!), to Hakka noodles... everything was so yummylicious!

I said my first of many more farewells to come - to Justin. When we hugged, a sudden pang of sadness just came over me and I thought "This is only the first one, and it hurts already..." Despite having mulled over this whole leaving Malaysia thingo for weeks and weeks, I still haven't quite come to terms with it. Will I ever???
