Dedicated to whoever....

Overjoyed
-Stevie Wonder-

Over time, I've been building my castle of love
Just for two, though you never knew you were my reason
I've gone much too far for you now to say
That I've got to throw my castle away

Over dreams, I have picked out a perfect come true
Though you never knew it was of you I've been dreaming
The sandman has come from too far away
For you to say come back some other day

And though you don't believe that they do
They do come true
For did my dreams
Come true when I looked at you
And maybe too, if you would believe
You too might be
Overjoyed, over loved, over me

Over hearts, I have painfully turned every stone
Just to find, I had found what I've searched to discover
I've come much too far for me now to find
The love that I've sought can never be mine

And though you don't believe that they do
They do come true
For did my dreams
Come true when I looked at you
And maybe too, if you would believe
You too might be
Overjoyed, over loved, over me

And though the odds say improbable
What do they know
For in romance
All true love needs is a chance
And maybe with a chance you will find
You too like I
Overjoyed, over loved, over you, over you

Just a song that has been playing over and over and over in my head.

I've told Alan before - Stevie Wonder, with dreadlocks, reminds me of Ron Stoppable's ferret (from the cartoon show Kim Possible, for the cartoon-ignorant) when he sings and looks skyward, head bobbing up and down to the music. You've got to see him in motion though, for you to appreciate what I'm saying. Hehe. Oh yeah, just watch him in the music video of 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' with Blue and Angie Stone.

Haha... I guess I caught on the fever from Alan when we got him 'The Definitive Collection' for his birthday. Before this, the only songs I knew from Stevie were, like, I just called to say I love you, and ebony and ivory which i didn't particularly like that much. Didn't know most of his old songs til lately. hehe. ooh, u saw the superstitious video? where can i watch that? MTV or channel V??? hmmm.

i saw the video on one of my parents oldies karaoke vcds so its a bit unlikely to see it nowadays.. the only way to see him is thru boybands featuring him. eg. 98 degrees and blue. sad huh?
